B~Monthly

 B~Monthly

••welcome to Spring••
Some of you are aware of my relocation to Newcastle next year. Sooner than expected my family pack up & take the reins of our new adventure. It has been an emotional few weeks leading up to this announcement .. So
staying true to living in the moment - I am embracing the flow of life - albeit slowly. For those that haven't made it back to the studio in a while, now is a great time to find the mat again. With my slow acceptance and gentle shift toward my inner gypsy, I have decided to explore some freeing vinyasa flows and empowering sequences of grounding and cleansing. We have 4 months left together to create a real shift in your practice. I would love to help you all deepen your ability to discover more of YOU on the mat.

Even though I won't be in the community space with you, a new and incredably capable yogi WILL be.
A couple of months ago the gentle & gifted Rachelle filled a handful of classes for me.  She has now gratefully accepted the offer of taking over the classes when I leave. So not only are you in perfectly capable hands, you are all in for real treat with all that she has to offer from her health and wellbeing menu. { Prana Haven https://www.facebook.com/PranaHaven } Over the next month or so, you will see her face [maybe even feel her magic hands on you during savasana] at the studio so she can get to know you all, so please feel free to talk with her about your needs and concerns. I will be handing over everybody's confidential health info so she will be up to speed on your ability and progress.
If you're a Thursday B~Basic yogi you get to experience her beautiful teaching as of Sept 25 as she joins us on our journey.

To make the transition smoother for her and simpler for our honest means of making a living. B~10Pass will no longer be available.
B~4Pass will only be avail for the month of Sept -so grab one on your next visit to class.
Class costs will stay the same, but as the months roll on we will roll out more information.

As of Nov 9 I will be helping out our Defense Families (something close to my heart) with yoga at the Army base on a Thurs afternoon.  Spreading more good vibes and healthy bodies through the community. (Flyer attached) - yet times aren't correct. It's 12:30-2pm. If you're a Defence member, partner, or know someone who is, give them a call & sign up ;)

Manduka Mats are in the studio and selling fast. At $88, they are a real investment. "Are you wanting to unroll a mat that will be with you the rest of your life?" check out http://www.manduka.com/ for the low down on our gorgeous two tone Eco Lites. Or just check out your neighbors mat next time you come in ... It's probably a Manduka !!

B~PostNatal class is set to grow in size, so if you know a new Mama [or even a papa that is a full time carer] be sure to let them know that THURSDAYS 10:30 ~ 11:30am is for a Max of 8 with their Bubba's
$75 for a 6week course or $15 for drop in
The 6 weeks don't need to be consecutive. We understand babies and the unpredictability of family life :)

Global Mala is the next exciting installment in All things Yoga .. a glorious Sunday morning down at the Strand on International Peace  Day (September 21) where we all have the opportunity to partake in 108 SunSalutations (to your ability of course) or even 108 mins of meditation with millions of yogis all around the world. An added bonus is we'll be raising funds for Yoga Tools For Schools. By your tickets online (discounted) or on the day. 100% kid friendly. So what are you waiting for?

I very much look forward to my time left with you all on the mat and at events like Global Mala.
Until I see you on the mat - enjoy your Spring & remember this..

GIVE PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW FAIR A CHANCE
When you look at a person, remember that everyone has a story. Everyone has gone through something that has changed them and forced them to grow. Every passing face on the street represents a story every bit as compelling as yours. We meet no ordinary people in our lives. If you give them a chance, everyone has something amazing to offer. So appreciate the possiblity of new relationships as you naturally let go of old ones that no longer work. Trust your intuition. Embrace new relationships, knowing that you are entering into unfamiliar territory. Be ready to learn, be ready for a challange, and be ready to meet someone that just might change your life forever.
