The day had come, my departure from a town that got totally in under
my radar to creep into my heart, & sadness (to say the least) enveloped me. Waved off by Guru goddess soul Sistah & a few massively hearted yogis that I ache to see each weekend. My family didnt see my smile for an entire day. As deep as I dug into my tool kit of acceptance I just couldn't shake my heavy heart. By day 3 on the road I -& a handful of long loving supportive texts from my rock - was absorbing this glorious Qld state & it's robust terrains.

Thanking all the glorious yogis who entered the NorthShore space and shared some openings & closings, their hearts & minds, their power & weaknesses, their solitude & rambunctiousness.
What I witnessed from each & every one of you was the entire reason I teach yoga. It may have only been once, it may have been each time you practiced, but your hearts beating slower & slower, your chests rising with your resting savasana bodies,
the peace that spread across your foreheads as you sat up...the gentle glow from deep in your eyes.
Yoga touches people deeply - sometimes it takes years, sometimes minutes. I saw yoga touch each & every one of you in well under 2hrs. The acceptance & growth of yoga here in Townsville is
gorgeous. By the time I come back to workshop my new trainings with you all - you will have softened even more, strengthened & fine tuned. Imagine how good you're going to feel in a few years? Get off your computer & get on a mat, well, after you've read this anyway. ;)
Grateful for the inspiring healthy living community there in the 'Ville..some seriously sweet stores opened up now. So make sure you keep shopping local and talking to your neighbours, growing foods together, bartering your businesses & helping out when ever you can.
Now onto some shapes ..
Some of you may remember we started to touch on the jump back..
