February sprawling before me. A calm that never fails to settle my busy January head.

Moving interstate & being in limbo for over a month brought about a new sense of busyness, one that I had to courageously continue, moment by moment, to try & enjoy the things that I normally adore. My children, the sense of adventure it takes to pack up your family and travel to new beginnings, my partner, the ocean, clouds, sunsets and even food!!
My Tauren ways were tested for every strength. I know deep in my heart the crave I had was for security in the form of a home, somewhere to hide and burrow away when it all feels too much.
My very good friend & original guru  wrote to me and shone a torch on my situation by simply saying

...so happy for you beautiful nomads..x
Sending you stunning Fox energy...of being able to make a niche wherever you may be...

That was it, that's all it took to make me breath a sigh of relief - a connection to another 'earthling' that does this sort of thing regularly. Easy does it, now I just need to have less to unpack like the fox ;)

Feburary is also marking the official transition to Vegan for me, as January began #veganuary, it proved  to me that any transition needs to be gentle & accepting of bumps on the road.
Watching http://earthlings.com/ impacted me greatly before New Years, mostly because I had seen it all before & still not made the jump back into vegetarian.. The supposed ease of feeding the entire family at once acted as my ignorant mask..it was shocking to feel so biased - in my heart making peace by thanking the animal, in our blessing of food, for its life each night we ate meat.
My adoration for living creatures wasn't including those born into 'modern farming' practices. I won't get on a soap box (in this entry) but I will encourage you to research the companies you are supporting each week by buying their product.

So has January revealed anything that truly wasn't serving you? Or did your resolutions work out perfectly? Something long term, a transition that could take all of 2015? I personally found that saying less serves me more (of course) & making more eye contact with my beautiful children makes our entire life better. Also, trains to Sydney take a really long time when there's track work being done !

February's calm path will unravel slowly and just as it should. Accepting that my studies have to wait may still feel a little unfair. Yet to harbour the ill feelings of missing out would only do more harm than good. My dream is still a little way off..I'm always learning, researching, reading and practicing..now I'll add a double dose of acceptance & all should be good.
A special mention of gratitude to http://www.adoreyoga.com for the amazing offering, declining was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I believe what you guys are achieving and teaching is epic & right up my alley, Namaste Nikola.

Until next time, remember to ACCEPT PEOPLE JUST THE WAY THEY ARE.
In most cases it's impossible to change them anyway, and it's rude to try.  So save yourself from needless stress.  Instead of trying to change others, give them your support and lead by example.

Peace & Shapes
