Juicy January

This week, lets take a moment to bid a conscious farewell to the year just gone. Was it a good year? Then spread your gratitude.

Was it a challenging one? Be grateful still.

Share your compassionate attitude with yourself.

Let this fresh year fall into place like a well oiled cog. Let the welcoming spirit of new beginnings make your             face kind.

This is the beginning of a new place inside you. A place to find courage & adaptability, a place within you that even deep hurts & tough truths                   can be endured.

Possibly, the most draining of circumstances can be accepted.

A space of maturity &                dignity that spans the          centre of all your beliefs is waiting for you. Just find the place in you that is willing to unfold.

Sometimes the overindulgence of our festivities leaves us feeling empty, depleted & sunken. These are all valid states of mind that need attending to. Rather than set more resolutions or aim higher for the year ahead, perhaps reset in a gentle & more gracious way. The testimony to your outlook depends on what it is you're will to let in. Hold back if it feels right & stay true to the deep knowledge of your own being. Search your energy before setting unrealistic goals & search your awareness before stepping into new zones. Let your cogs  shift slower if they feel heavy with the effort of 2015.

I am grateful to have met more amazing Yogi Minds in the last few months. I am happy to hold space for you in all your individual requirements. Remember that your practice is the recipe for your life. Sometimes you need more ingredients or simply a dash of chilli. Each time you come to your mat, your space, you reintroduce yourself to the recipe. What does it call for? How hungry are you? What afflictions are you facing? Time of day? Week or month?

Yoga is a structural practice that allows you to take the energetic sequences, your foundations & use them as support for your intuition as growth is discovered.

No matter where you are in your practice, you can always find another ingredient to add or take.

Yoga requires clear perception & an understanding of where you are able to orchestrate a sweet long breath. How you are able to gracefully move in & out of your shapes. Inner perception not external recognition. What's happening on the mat beside or in front of you has nothing to do with the story, the buffet, inside you. Stick to your program, your recipe - because when you get to Savasana you don't want the ego getting in the way. You want to feel free enough to slip into the secrete science ;) of yoga. The true journey of letting go & discovering the abundant gift of meditation.

So each & every time you begin your practice I encourage you to tune into yourself. Ask what's going on, what is needed & listen out for your intuition. Let the art of yoga find you.

"The process of perception has no ideal and so the process of practice also has no ideal"

-Donna Farhi

So let's get juicy with January and allow this year to reveal what it may. Clarify the deep calling inside & spread it with a good dose of courage so your ability to believe becomes a conduit of all rebounding action.
